Chairman Li Yong was invited to attend the Boao Forum for Asia The First Session of the Global Economic Development and Security Forum

On the afternoon of October 18, the First Session of the Global Economic Development and Security Forumjointly organized by Boao Forum for Asia and Hunan Provincial People’s Government was held in Changsha International Conference Center. Chairman Li Yong was invited to attend the conference as a VIP and participated in many important activities of the conference. Li Baodong, Secretary General of the Boao Forum for Asia, said that the huge shock of COVID-19 is still having a profound impact on global economicand social development.At the same time, supply chain security, climate change,network security, food security and financial risks are becoming increasingly prominent, which not only brings unprecedented challenges to the world economic recovery and sustainable development, but also exposes many weak links in theglobal governance system. Against this background, the First Session of the Global Economic Development and Security Forum is held at the right time and has great prospects.

The conference closely follows the current worldeconomic frontier development trends and prominent risks and challenges, and designs more than 30 important events around topics such as “The Belt and Road:Common development and common security”, “Carbon Neutrality to Promote Global Ecological Security”, “Weaknesses in Public Health”, “Emergency Management in Risk Society”, “Three-chain Reconstruction in the Post-epidemic Era”, “Security and Governance of Cyberspace”, “Global Energy Supply and Security”, and “Preventing Financial Risks”.
