On the evening of May 14, BFA held a meeting among newly-appointed council leaders in Beijing and President Li Yong was invited to attend the meeting as a special guest. Pan Jiwen (the newly-appointed BFA president and the 8th UN general secretary), Zhou Xiaochuan (newly-appointed vice BFA president, chief representative of China, ex-vice chairman of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conferenceand ex-governor of the People’s Bank of China) and Li Baodong (newly-appointed general secretary of BFA, deputy secretary of Ministry of Foreign Affairs) etc appeared for the first time. On the meeting, President Li Yong, the three council members mentioned above, Ren Hongbin (president of SINOMACH), Li Ruogu (president of EIBC(Export-Import Bank of China)), Chen Feng (president of Hainan Airlines Group) had a deep discussion and took photos together.
