China Yong Group will layout Big Health Industry in Jiangxi Ganzhou

On Jul. 8, “2018 Ganzhou (Beijing) Biomedical Big Health Industry Cooperation Recommendation and Key Project Signing Ceremony” was held in Beijing, where 10 key projects were achieved and contracted, with a total contract price of 10.5 billion Yuan. Being entrusted by President Li Yong, Zhang Chunhu (Executive Vice President) and Zhao Fazhong (General Manager of Planning Department) attended the signing ceremony, and signed with Ganzhou Municipality to establish “China Yong Biomedical Funds” (5 billion Yuan). In the future, “China Yong Biomedical Funds” will mainly concentrate on gene services, biological technologies and intelligent medical equipment, and establish new bio-pharmaceutical companies with high growth and strategic value. Ganzhou, in the south of Jiangxi, is the second largest city in Jiangxi, where there are 24 medical enterprises with designated size or above, distributing in 13 counties (cities, regions) and Ganzhou Economic Development Zone. In 2017, medical industrial enterprises with designated size or above in Ganzhou got a 9.328 billion Yuan revenue relying on major businesses, with a year on year growth of 7.95%.

At the signing ceremony, Zeng Wenming, Mayor of Ganzhou City, said that biomedical industry was a strategic infant industry needing development priority according to Made in China 2025. Actually, Ganzhou attaches great emphasis to the development of big health industry, especially the biomedical industry. Therefore, preferential policies have been issued to support its development; also, big health industry and biomedical industry in Ganzhou will get advantages in traffic and development platform.
