The Group donated 5 million yuan one-time to Chinese Foundation for the Education of Public Prosecutors

In the afternoon of July 1st , Chinayong Investment Group and Zhongnan University of Economics and Law Development of Rule of Law and Judicial Reform Research Center held the donation ceremony in centre conference room. Professor Xu Hanming, director of the Rule of Law and Judicial Reform Research Center and doctoral supervisor, Li Yong, member of the national committee of CPPCC, vice chairman of Chinese prosecutors Education Foundation, and president of Hua Yong Investment Group,  Professor Wu Handong, president of Zhongnan University of Economics and Law and chairman of Central Academic Committee, Professor Zhao Bingzhi, dean of Criminal Law Science Research Institute of Beijing Normal University and vice chairman of Central Academic Committee, Professor Yao Li, minister of Scientific Research Department of Zhongnan University of Economics and Law and distinguished chief expert in the center, Professor Xia Yong, assistant dean of College of Criminal Justice and distinguished chief expert in the center, Professor Ye Qing, deputy director general of Bureau of Statistics in Hubei Province and distinguished chief expert in the center, Professor Su Caixia, distinguished expert in the center and assistant dean of College of Criminal Justice took part in this donation ceremony. And the ceremony was hosted by Professor Liu Kefeng, the vice president of Zhongnan University of Economics and Law.

On the donation ceremony, President Wu Handong made a speech first who described the personal stories of Chairman Li Yong, and expressed sincere appreciation and thanks to Li Yong’s goodness and benefaction as well as his kind donation to research center and law education, and hoped that Zhongnan University of Economics and Law Development of Rule of Law and Judicial Reform Research Center can become a nation-wide top think tank in Hubei Provience under the care, support and help of each leader, expert and people from all walks of life and the host of Director Wu Hanming. Subsequently, in the warm applause at the scene, Director Wu Hanming formally signed the donation document with Li Yong, and Director Wu Hanming and President Wu Handong accepted the donation cheque with five million RMB from Chinayong Investment Group as representatives.

 Next, as the donor of this activity, Li Yong, Chairman of Chinayong Investment Group delivered a speech. He sighed that he was very glad to come to Zhongnan University of Economics and Law to catch sight of the young, sunny and friendly students which all of those recalled his own university life. He also talked about a love of the scenery and the humanities in Zhongnan University, and may form a good relationship with it so as to take it to be his second alma mater. The Chairman Li Yong suggested that the support to the research center started from the high recognition to the center’s development ideas and concepts. He was full of confidence to the future development of the center, and hoped that the center would become the backbone of China's rule of law and the important squares of national and local legal think tank.   

At last, as the recipient of this activity, Director Wu Hanming from Zhongnan University of Economics and Law Development of Rule of Law and Judicial Reform Research Center delivered a warm speech. He said, “Today is a great day. At the same time the Communist Party of China entering into the 90’s, our research center is established formally. This means that the law research in China also opens up a new position in the support of President Li Yong. In addition, it is also a charming day today, which Professor Wu Handong, Professor Zhao Bingzhi and other legal experts gather together to make the donation ceremony particularly attractive.” At the same time he expressed heartfelt thanks to Chairman Li Yong, he not only briefly introduced the Development of Rule of Law and Judicial Reform Research Center, but also expressed his hope to the future development of the Center. In the end, Director Xu Hanming heated to invite all outstanding teachers and students to join in the research center to contribute ideas and exert efforts for China’s development of rule of law and judicial reform.

So far, the donation ceremony from Huayong Investment Group to Zhongnan University of Economics and Law Development of Rule of Law and Judicial Reform Research Center concluded successfully.
