Chairman Li Yong Made a Special Trip to Bo’ao Forum for Asia Headquarters in Beijing to Meet with Secretary General Li Baodong

OnMarch 14, 2019, to thank Bo’ao Forum for Asia and Huayong Group for their goodcooperation over the years, President Li Yong, as a senior platinum member of Bo’ao Forum for Asia, made a special trip to visit Beijing Headquarters of Bo’ao Forum for Asia and met with Li Baodong, Secretary General of Bo’ao Forum for Asia  the twosides held cordial and friendly conversation, and reached broad consensus onfuture cooperation.

ChairmanLi Yong first reviewed the vivid experience of attending Bo’aoForum for Asia and the care of successive secretariat leaders of theForum for him and Huayong Group. He said that, with the help of Forum annualmeeting and various activities, he has broadened his international vision, timelygrasped the pulse of global and Chinese development, and expanded his circle ofcontacts. Since the change of Forum director, the innovation and development ofall aspects of work had provided members with rich and pragmatic services. Inthe end, Chairman Li Yong expressed full confidence in the future developmentof Forum, and he would continue to actively participate in Forum activities andsupport the development of Forum.

LiBaodong, Secretary General of Forum, said that the development and growth of Bo’ao Forum for Asia who started from scratch cannot beachieved without the long-term firm support of “old members” such as Huayong Investment.Members and partners are the fundamental force for the development of Forum andthe main service object of Forum. The new Forum council attaches great importanceto the work of members. The secretariat will provide members with services ofmore diversified forms and more practical contents, making the members’ valueof Forum more valuable.

After the meeting, ChairmanLi Yong presented a gift to Bo’ao Forum for Asiaon behalf of Huayong Group – an elegant “ruyi” made of Vietnamese silkwood,which implied that the future development of Bo’ao Forumfor Asia and its cooperation with Huayong Group would go well! Zhang Chunhu,Executive Vice President of the Group, Xie Shoufeng, General Manager of the LegalDepartment, Zhao Fazhong, General Manager of the Planning Department, Guan Haiyun,General Manager of the Public Relations Department, Zhang Linran, Secretary ofthe Chairman, Wei Lili, Deputy Manager of the Administrative Department andother officials accompanied the meeting.
