Chairman Li Yong Makes a Visit to Myanmar, Malaysia and Sri Lanka Along With the Investigation Group of South-south Cooperation Promotion Association

From Nov. 9, 2016 to Nov. 18, 2016, at the invitation of the government of Myanmar, Malaysia and Sri Lanka, Chairman Li Yong makes an official visit to three countries above along with Chinese investigation group of south-south cooperation promotion association. The investigation group is led by chairman Lu Xinhua of south-south cooperation promotion association, and members include dozens of Chinese well-known enterprises and institutions from the field of investment management, infrastructure construction, mineral exploitation, agriculture and so on. During the visit, the investigation group communicates with related government officers of Myanmar, Malaysia and Sri Lanka, and respectively makes one on one meeting with three countries’ enterprises. In the dialogue and exchanges, Lu Xinhua represents:  In recent years, the amount of Chinese enterprises that come to Southeast Asia and South Asia increases continually, it not only bring about technology transfer, but also promote the development of related enterprise and industry; The cooperation is mutual benefit and win-win, it is hoped that more and more Chinese enterprises come here to conduct investment and cooperation; The purpose of his leading the investigation group this time is also to better promote cooperation, communication and development of both parties.

During the visit, “China—Myanmar Investment and Trade Symposium” is held at Myanmar industry and commerce alliance business federation of Rangoon in Nov. 11. The meeting is conducted by Chairman Lu Xinhua and chairman of Myanmar industry and commerce alliance business federation Miao De, Dr. Both parties carry out exchanges in relation to investment in Myanmar of Chinese enterprise. Chairman Li Yong briefly introduces overseas business layout of the group in meeting and shows his very willingness to develop cooperation with Myanmar enterprises, and hope for finding new cooperation opportunities in Myanmar.

At the meeting of “China—Malaysia Economy and Trade Top Enterprise Matching Symposium” that held in Nov. 13, Malaysia Chinese Trade Promotion Association President Wang Fuyuan indicates: While achieving bright economy growth, China is always not niggardly in sharing development results with neighboring countries, Malaysia—China Economy and Trade just achieves fruitful results in this background, and it is believed that better development will occur in future. Chairman Li Yong introduced related conditions of Chinayong Group and progress of cooperation project in Malaysia at the meeting. Li Yong indicates that investment and cooperation in Malaysia will increase; this is consistently praised and highly regarded by all walks of life at the meeting. On the fourteen, Chairman Li Yong meets Malaysia International Trade and Industry minister Huang Jiaquan along with president Lu Xinhua, At the meeting president Lu mentions: hoping that Malaysia is able to create better investment environment, and truly realize investment facilitation and trade liberalization. Huang Jiaquan indicates: Malaysia investment environment is good, foreign investors are treated equally in Malaysia, and win-win cooperation development is achieved with efforts. On the eve of leaving Kuala Lumpur, chairman Li Yong at invitation paid a visit to famous Chinese businessman—Chenggong group chairman Chen Zhiyuan, they are like old friends, and basically agreed consensus and intention on next all-round strategy cooperation of both parties at the meeting.

Nov. 16, Sri Lanka primer Vic Ramah Sinha met in Colombo with a party of chairman Lu Xinhua, Chairman Li Yong also attended the meeting. Both parties exchanged views on Chinese enterprises investing in Sri Lanka with candid cooperation, and reached extensive consensus. That day, along with delegation, Chairman Li Yong attended the “China—Sri Lanka Investment and Trade Symposium”. President Lu Xinhua, Chinese ambassador to Sri Lanka Yi Xianliang and responsible person of Sri Lanka delivered speeches respectively. Both parties give credit for performance in China—Sri Lanka Economy and Trade, and profile the problems occurred in process of cooperation, and also give solutions. During the time in Sri Lanka, senior politician, Incumbent Cabinet Minister of Special Project A Munugama meets the main member of delegation. Firstly he introduces some major projects which eagerly needs to be developed in Sri Lanka, and he also interactively communicates with Chairman Li Yong, he hopes that Chinayong Group could grasp the chance and invests in Sri Lanka early. Chairman Li Yong thanks for introduction and invitation of Minister A Munugama, and indicates that investment and cooperation in Sri Lanka will be talked as soon as possible.

This time the visit deepens understanding between Chinayong Group and three countries enterprises of Myanmar, Malaysia and Sri Lanka, it reached many cooperation intension and gained fruitful results.
