Chairman Li Yong Attended the 13th China Henan International Investment &Trade Fair as Part of the China Association for Promoting International Economic & Technical Cooperation Inspection Delegation and Conducted an Inspection Tour to Xinxiang

In the morning on April 8, 2019, the 13th China Henan International Investment &Trade Fair with the theme of “Openness and Cooperation, Making the Central Plains Thrive” was grandly opened at the Zhengzhou International Convention &Exhibition Center. The event was jointly hosted by the People's Government of Henan Province, the Ministry of Commerce, the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT), and the Chinese People's Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries. As Vice President of the China Association for Promoting International Economic & Technical Cooperation, Chairman Li Yong, along with President Yang Chunguang and more than 130 entrepreneur representatives from CAITEC, was invited to attend this fair.

Wang Guosheng, Secretary of the CPC Henan Provincial Committee, Chen Run’er, Governor of Henan Province, Liu Wei, Chairman of the Henan Provincial Committee of CPPCC, Yu Hongqiu, Deputy Secretary of the CPC Henan Provincial Committee, Li Chenggang, Member of the Party Leadership Group and Assistant Minister of the Ministry of Commerce, Lu Pengqi, Vice President of the CCPIT, and Hu Sishe, Vice President of the Chinese People's Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries, attended the opening ceremony. Secretary Wang Guosheng announced the opening of the 13th China Henan International Investment &Trade Fair. Nearly 20,000 merchants and guests from around the world gathered in the Central Plains to share business opportunities and seek common development at this Investment Fair. Chairman Li Yong accompanied Chairman Yang Chunguang and his delegation to attend the opening ceremony and inspected the exhibition halls.

On April 9, President Yang Chunguang and Vice Chairman Li Yong headed the CAIETC delegation to Xinxiang City, Henan Province, where they conducted an inspection tour and held discussions on industrial development, scientific and technological innovation, urban construction, and 5G and big data applications. The purpose was to further deepen mutual understanding, enhance consensus, and achieve practical cooperation in multiple fields.Wang Dengxi, Mayor of Xinxiang City, Li Yueyong, Executive Vice Mayor, Yang Junjie and Wang Tianxing, Vice Mayors, Dou Jie, Member of the Party Leadership Group of the Xinxiang Municipal Government, Zhou Yong, Vice Chairman of the CPPCC Xinxiang Municipal Committee and Director of the Xinxiang Municipal Bureau of Commerce, and Liu Yong, Secretary-General of the Xinxiang Municipal Government, attended the symposium.

Mayor Wang Dengxi, on behalf of the CPC Xinxiang Municipal Committee and the Xinxiang Municipal People's Government, extended a warm welcome to President Yang Chunguang, Vice Chairman Li Yong and the delegation, and introduced the relevant situation of Xinxiang City. The Mayor Wang Dengxi stated that Xinxiang adheres to high-quality Party building to guide high-quality government, and is striving to construct the "Six Systems" - namely the modern innovation system, modern industrial system, modern urban system, ecological civilization system, basic capacity support system and public service system. It is making great efforts to contribute to the brighter development of the Central Plains and write a brilliant chapter for Xinxiang. He hoped that the entrepreneurs of the delegation would provide targeted guidance and professional advice for Xinxiang's work, put forward valuable suggestions, and propose practical solutions. He also expressed the wish that the entrepreneurs would invest and start businesses in Xinxiang to jointly discuss development plans and work together to achieve great undertakings in this prosperous age.

The delegation also conducted on-site inspections at the Hi-tech Zone Big Data Industrial Park, Shengda Filtration, the National 863 (Xinxiang) Science and Technology Industrial Park in Hongqi District, Xinrui Electronic Technology Co., Ltd., Xinxiang North Instrument Co., Ltd., and the Yunlong Mountain Grand Health & Culture Industrial Park.
